Cody and I were originally introduced at Jay and Brittany's wedding social, then again during a visit to the shop. It wasn't until many years later; and with some assistance from Cody's female friends, that we would start talking online.

My first impression of Cody was that he was quiet. (HA!) Cody's first impression of me was that I had a good memory because, he had no recollection of having ever met me. He later admited to having asked someone for my number but was told "I dont think so!"

We had our first date in a tractor cab just north of the junction in early 2019. A few days later, It rained and Cody invited himself over for supper. That second date quite literally turned into forever, I didn't know it then, but that weekend Cody would become a permanent resident of 334 Trailer Bay.

Cody moved quickly in more ways than one, He asked me after moving in if this meant I was his girlfriend, and I laughed at him. Later in the day, when he asked if I would like to go for a drive, I didn't realize I would be paraded around north of Portage like a 4H prize calf.

We discovered we would be parents that summer and a pregnancy, parenthood, a couple moves, a house reno and proposal later, here we are.
